Waterhousea floribunda 'Sweeper' PBR 45Lt (Weeping Lillypilly)
Tom looks as happy as a chritmas cracker about to explode. My guess is it’s the improved variety of Waterhousea Sweeper, that features a beautiful weeping habit and lush-green growth. The Sweeper has a denser form, making it the ideal plant for a large screen. This tree grows to 10m high by 5-8m wide in full-sun to part-shade and has clusters of lovely white flowers in summer. It will also tolerate light frosts in cool climates.

    Murraya paniculata 30cm (Orange Jessamine)
Come out to Kilby Park Tree Farm and take a good long sniff of these Murrayas. Run your hands through the lush evergreen growth and see if you can tell Tom a joke to make him laugh. These rounded shrubs bear a mass of highly perfumed, white flowers during the summer and are a useful screening hedge, or container plant. They prefer a rich, moist, well drained soil in a sunny to partly shady position. Murrayas responds well to regular pruning and can reach heights of 3 metres.

Trachelospermum jasminoides 20cm & 30cm (Chinese Star Jasmine)
Well Tom this is it for 2009. Hope to see you in 2010 with a clean pressed shirt and a tie. If you want the best Trachelospermum jasminoides, have a close look at these. They are a popular evergreen climber, better known for its endless blooms and enchanting fragrance. Growing to a maximum of 2.5m in height, Trachelospermum has the ability to climb walls, trees and trellises as well as being an effective ground cover.
